It’s All About Networking

A man once said that “Your Network Is Your Net Worth”.

And, yup, it’s true.

When it comes to the startup world, networking is vital for a multitude of obvious reasons.

We thought we’d put this list together for you to help you see what’s out there with regards to networking events in Hong Kong. We also have a resource dedicated to Digital Marketing Conferences in Hong Kong here.

If you’d like to add an event please do so by dropping a comment below.

DrinkEntrepreneurs Hong Kong

First on our list is “DrinkEntrepreneurs”, which according to the organizers, is “like meeting friends for a drink: no badges, no speeches, no ceremony. Enter a group and simply join the discussion!”

The main focus of this event in Hong Kong is to foster a laid back environment to meet other like-minded Hong Kong entrepreneurs. This event, which takes places regularly, is a great opportunity to meet growth hackers and startups.

In the words of the organizer: “It is expected that you will spend some quality time together without setting a specific topic or inviting a guest speaker. You can meet great people, have an awesome time and have a lot of fun.”

DrinkEntrepreneurs Shenzhen

Of course, Shenzhen is next to Hong Kong, and if we’re honest about it, has been running circles around Hong Kong as a tech and startup city for quite a while now.

This group would appeal to Hong Kong’s Drop Shippers and indeed anyone sourcing tech or other from China.

This event takes place in Shenzhen – not Hong Kong.

According to the organizer’s participants of this group benefit from learning from one another in one of China’s largest booming cities.

The folks behind this group say that they’ll help active and aspiring entrepreneurs as well as business professionals by introducing them to an active network of collaborators and channel their curiosity into action and opportunity at empowering educational and networking events.

Entrepnr Hong Kong Meetup

Entrepnr (pronounce “”Entrepreneur””) is Asia’s network of entrepreneurs and marketers!

The guy behind this, Max Henry, is all over Hong Kong with regards to organizing events. He’s a very friendly chap.

The group is, according to Mr. Henry, “an active community of entrepreneurs, startup founders, business owners and marketers from all industries and sectors across Asia who have joined together to share experience and provide advice to each other through live events, virtual meetings and more.”

Sounds good to us.

I’ve been to one of these events and it was interesting and I met a couple of pretty inspirational characters.
