Little Personal History

I’ve built somewhere in the region of 50 websites since I first started in Internet Marketing in 2001.
I used to build my own Content Management Systems in PHP using a ton of ‘include files’ and inevitably in 2003, I discovered WordPress. It definitely wasn’t “love at first sight”, in fact, I found it clunky and bloated but over time I begin to realize that it solved a ton of solutions with the main one being ease.
The thing I began to really like about WordPress was the way that you could build themes and that, of course, changed the history of CMS’s on the Interwebs. I think I’m correct in thinking that something like 30% of the Internet is powered by WordPress (PHP and MySQL).
Enter OceanWP
The frustration I felt with WordPress was, of course, the time it took to develop themes for clients and for my personal projects and businesses. There was always “an issue” or “bug” that I had to deal with and spend countless hours wrangling with the code.
Then, came along OceanWP, which simply said is friggin awesome and as far as I’m concerned it’s a total game changer.
OceanWP is a free multi-purpose WordPress theme that makes it extremely easy to create beautiful & unique websites with WordPress.
Here’s What I Love About OceanWP
It’s a MEGA time saver.
The best thing about this theme, as stated, is the fact that it is a major time saver: this customization setting is a fantastic example because you set all your global themes here and, of course, they can all be heavily tweaked as you desire.

Use A Child Theme For OceanWP
Using a child theme for OceanWP is vital; the team behind the theme have even created a Child Theme for you here.
If you’re interested to learn how to use OceanWP and Elementor then I’d absolutely recommend this video below. Watch it and you’ll have your site up and running in no time at all.
There’s no better them out there. Trust me, I’ve built enough sites, especially here in Hong Kong.
